The God's most Powerful Prayer Co-created with and Influenced by the Scriptures, and Works of Great Masters

“O Baba,

Thou art the Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent,

The Eternal and Imperishable,

Hallowed be Your name, Ah.

You're without Beginning and without End,

The One, beyond imagination and conception,

You're unlimited, unfathomable, and beyond comparison,

It needs Eyes Divine to see You.

You're indivisible, but You're everywhere, and in everything

Also beyond everywhere and beyond everything,

Your divine light and bliss come,

Your Will be done on earth as in heaven.

You’re the only God - the Almighty, and beyond God,

The Creator; the knower of all minds and hearts,

Who give us freewill, love, creativity, responsibility

And the power to co-create our life.

You're Knowledge Infinite, Power Infinite, Bliss Infinite,

Make us always loveable, just as Thou Art;

Give us today our daily bread, and

The higher awareness of Thy Infinite.

You're all-merciful, eternally benevolent, the Ocean of Love,

Forgive us our debts and sins,

As we forgive our debtors and those who sin against us,

Even ourselves.

The Soul of souls, the Source of Truth, and Infinite Love,

You're the One with infinite attributes and without attributes,

Save us during hard times, and remove all the dirt, disease, and grossness,

Deliver us from evils, and guide us towards Thou Art.

You're Ancient One, the Highest of High, Beyond Beyond-God,

Thank you, Baba, Allah, Elahi, Yezdan, Paramprabhu,

For our life, and all of it,

For the wisdom, the power, and the glory are Yours now and forever.

Om.”

GAYATRI MANTRA

"Om Bhoor Bhuvah Svah,
Tat Savitur Varenyam,
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi,
Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat."

Meaning And Significance of Gayatri Mantra:

Om - It is the supreme name of God. The single word Om or Aum is known as the Pranava mantra and is perhaps the most significant mantra for humankind. It is the primary (seed) or Pranava mantra (bija mantra) because it contains the seed for all other mantras within itself. Om is also referred to in some texts as the primordial sound.

Bhoor - This word implies existence. God is self-existence and independent of all. He is eternal and unchanging, and without beginning and without end. He exists as a continuous, permanent, and constant entity. The word Bhoor also means the Earth, on which we exist. God is the provider of all, and it is through His divine will that we are blessed with all that we require to maintain us through our lives. Here Bhoor signifies Prana or life.

Bhuvah - It is the absolute Consciousness of God. God is self-conscious as well as being conscious of all else, and thus can control and govern the Universe. It denotes God's greatness is greater than the sky and space, He is boundless and unlimited. It also indicates that God is the remover of all pain and suffering.

Svah - It indicates the all-pervading nature of God. God is omnipresent and pervades the entire multi-formed Universe. Without form, He can manifest Himself through the medium of the physical world and is thus present in each and every physical entity. In this way, God can interact with the Universe created by Him, and thus sustains and controls it, ensuring its smooth and proper running and function.

Tat - It literally means "that", the third person used in Sanskrit. Here Tat is used referring to [that] God, and that the praise being offered to God in the prayer is purely directed towards Him, without thought of gaining any personal benefit from that praise. The word Tat is used to implicit in it an idea of selflessness.

Savita (Savitur) - It is another name of God, that is why the Gayatri mantra is often known as the Savitri mantra. The implication of Savita is of God's status as the fountain, the source of all things. It is through His Divine Grace that the Universe exists. It indicates God's ability to create the Universe and sustain it, as well as, at the right time, bring about its dissolution.

Varenyam - It means our acceptance of God, and also translated as "Who is worthy". A human can be ever ready to obtain all the material riches of the world, more often than not, he/she is a disappointment once they have been achieved. God however is the one who, once realized and achieved, has the ability to truly satisfy. We, therefore, accept Him as the Highest reality, and it is to Him that we dedicate our efforts.

Bhargo - It signifies the Glorious Light of God's Love and Power. God is complete purity; being absolutely pure Himself, God also has the ability to purify those that come into contact with him. God has the absolute power to purify and to destroy all sins and afflictions. It is like the metal ore placed into the fire will yield the pure metal, by merging with God, by realizing His Diving form and establishing unity and oneness with Him, we can cleanse ourselves and be made pure by His Grace.

Deva (Devasya) - It generally means God. Also, Deva is the root word for "Devata" and "Devi", which means "quality" or "attribute", and can be considered as another word for "Guna".

Dheemahi - It means to meditate and focus our minds on God. With the help of meditation on God, we must be able to concentrate and direct our mental energies towards the task at hand, which is communion with God.

Dhiyo - It means intellect. Make clear in mind and intellect that material prosperity is temporary and means nothing for the truly devoted person. Pain and suffering are of no consequence to him as touched by God, he is imbued with God's own Divine Bliss, and all worldly sorrows pale to nothingness in comparison. However, still, the individual must live in the world.

Yo - It means who, or that. Only God is worthy of the highest adoration, only God is perfect and free from all defects. It is That God to Whom we offer these prayers.

Nah - It means "ours", and signifies the selflessness of the request we make of God in this part of the Gayatri Mantra. We offer this prayer, and make the request not simply for ourselves, but for the whole of humanity, that we may all benefit from the greatness and generosity of the All-loving God.

Prachodayat - It is the final word of the Gayatri Mantra, which summarizes the whole mantra, and completes the request we make to God. This word is a request to God, in which we ask Him for guidance and inspiration. With this, we ask Him to remove the darkness of Maya from our life by showing us His Divine and Glorious Light, that we can see the way. We ask Him to direct our energies in the right path, guiding us through the chaos of this world, to find sanctuary in the tranquility and peace of God Himself, the root of all Happiness, and the source of true Bliss.
